Bounce directly impacts the success rates of an email campaign. Basically, a bounce happens when an email is rejected due to an error, whether permanent or temporary. That is, the triggered email does not reach the Lead’s inbox successfully.
More than a campaign quality metric, it’s a quality metric from the Leads base itself. If your campaigns have had high bounce rates it means that the list is not good and needs to be sanitized.
We work in the solution by making that your campaign never have more than 3% hard bounce. This is because high rates of this type of error are a strong indicator that your mailing list is purchased or very old, and sending emails to those recipients is a very bad practice.
For this and other reasons, it is very important that once an email returns as hard bounce, inactivate that address from your list immediately to avoid damaging your reputation as a good e- mailer.
